Project 2 : Prototype

Brief of the Prototype

During this task we are ask to create a prototype of the website before we proceed to our final project which is a real functional website. Before doing the prototype, I have design a simple wire frames to make sure all of the design and typo will have in a good guide.

The primary objective was to improve user experience and improve the typography of the original website. In this prototype I have improve the layout of the website by divide the different feature and function into different area at the main page. I also make sure the layout is consistency by using horizontal layout read from left to right. To archive this goal I simplify the offers section by arrange the news in one line the user can just drag from this the user can reducing the click. So the news will not mess up the website.

Besides that I also improve the interactive feedback mechanisms, by creating a new page that shows the user feedback and message has been sucessfully send. This provides a more intuitive and satisfying experience. The user can click at the "go home button" and it will directly lead the to the home page.

The visual of the original website is to overwhelming due to image and color of the text. There use different color of texts in one paragraph. To solve this problem I also decided to eliminate graphic images as background elements. Instead, I used a solid color background to create a cleaner, more minimalist design. This reduction in visual clutter made the website more aesthetically pleasing and improved the readability of the content. The clean design allows users to focus more on the text without distractions from background images, enhancing the overall reading experience.

In conclusion, the prototype I created was designed to address the user experience issues of the original website. By simplifying the layout, improving feedback mechanisms, and enhancing the visual design, the prototype is now more user-friendly, intuitive, and visually appealing. These changes will help provide a smoother, more engaging experience for users, setting the foundation for the final, fully functional website.
