Exercise 1
My favorite video game is Honkai: Star Rail because it has a great mix of story, fun gameplay, and beautiful graphics. The game takes place in a cool sci-fi world with many interesting places to explore. The story is emotional and exciting, and each character has their own special personality and background. This makes it easy to care about them and want to know what happens next.
As the Trailblazer ,the character that represents the player. We will go on a journey through different worlds and meet many unique characters. Along the way, we discover their personal stories, which are often filled with both sadness and happiness. These emotional moments make the game more meaningful and help you feel more connected to the characters.
The game uses a turn-based battle system, which means us take turns to fight. Each character has different moves and skill points, so there are many team combinations. Players can try different lineups and create the best team that fits their own play style. This makes fighting big bosses more fun and more efficient.
This video game also playful and full of fun surprises. There are daily missions, small games, and funny side stories that make the game feel fresh every day. Some parts of the game are silly or full of jokes, which makes it even more enjoyable. One of the most thrilling parts is the gatcha system, where you can draw for new characters and rare items. You never know what you’ll get, so every pull feels exciting and full of surprise.
There are also special events and updates that give you new things to try. Overall, it’s a game that is both fun and interesting, and that’s why I love playing it.
Exercise 2
If Honkai: Star Rail started as a board game, it might look like games such as Gloomhaven or Dungeons & Dragons. These are tabletop games where players take turns, explore maps, use character cards, and follow a story. In this kind of board game, each player would play as a "Trailblazer" and move on a map by rolling dice or using cards.
They could meet new characters, fight monsters, and collect items. Each character would have their own skills and powers written on a card. The story could be read from a book, with choices that change what happens next. Getting new characters might happen by drawing from a deck—like a simple version of a gatcha system.
When Honkai: Star Rail becomes a video game, all of these things become more exciting and easy to follow. The game now has voice acting, bright graphics, and cool battle effects. The turn-based system is kept, but it looks more fun with animations and music. The gacha system becomes a flashy "pull" screen. The story is shown through cutscenes and dialogues instead of just reading. Online updates and events also make the game feel alive. Like the board game, it’s still about characters, teamwork, and adventure in a digital way.
